July 2026 - Grant Awarded to Community Children's Physiotherapy

Niamh Keohane Children’s physio applied for a grant to fund some specialised toys and accessories for hydrotherapy sessions for children with complex neurodisabilities who use the hydrotherapy pool at Mile End Hospital. The children benefit greatly from hydrotherapy and the right toys to enhance sensory, motor and social skills are essential to their progress. The toys help the children engage more fully with their therapy which improves their development and quality of life.

The toys have been supplied and Niamh has says that all the children are absolutely loving all of them. The tall tubie and basketball for the pool at such a big hit! She would like to thank Friends so much - the grant is massively appreciated.
