February 2026 - Update from Christmas Ward Grants

We have heard from several wards and departments about how they used their Christmas grants.

Several bought snacks and drinks to supplement ward and department stocks over the Christmas period.

Paediatric Critical Care gave travel cups to the parents on the unit.

Gerry Bennett Ward bought some small gifts for patients which were wrapped and put in a Santa snack. While the patients were having their infusions or medication the staff played a game with them. They rolled a dice and received a gift or a chocolate. The patients enjoyed this as did the staff.
