April 2026 - Speech and Language Grant Awarded

The team applied for funding to buy a spinner and posters to support their work with local families on the importance of speech and language in young children.

The team recently had a stall at a local supermarket and spoke to over 40 families. The spinner helped them to share information about speech and language development and how to access services in a more engaging way. Families were excited to come and see the stall and have a go on the spinner and the team saw engagement double compared to previous events without the spinner in particular. Their next stall will be at The Town Hall on Wednesday 20th May.
