27th December, 2018: Tragedy in Iceland

The Friends of the Royal London Hospital were horrified to hear the terrible news from Iceland. On 29th December The Times reported that Rajshree Laturia, her ten-month-old daughter, Shreeprabha and her brother-in-law’s wife, Khushboo, died in the accident. Their husbands, brothers Shreeraj and Supreme, were seriously injured. Shreerupa, Rajshree's nine-year-old daughter, and Noble, Khushboo's seven-year-old son, were also badly hurt. All remain in intensive care.

It is with profound sadness that the Friends of the Royal London Hospital now extend their deepest sympathy to Rajshree's family and friends at this desperately sad time.
